Cincinnati Business Courier-sponsored awards program recognizes leaders in sustainable practices
APTech Group Inc. was selected as one of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s 2011 Green Business Awards finalists in the green market strategy category. Other categories include: green design, green education/outreach and green policy.
The Cincinnati Business Courier, in partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council Cincinnati Regional Chapter, created the Green Business Awards to honor and recognize people, companies and organizations that are demonstrating leadership in sustainable practices in a variety of facilities and projects.
“We are proud and humbled to be among the finalists for the Courier’s Green Market Strategy award. It is gratifying to be recognized for efforts that are consistent with APTech’s ongoing commitment to develop and manufacture sustainable products for the water treatment industry,” said James Heimert, CEO of APTech Group.
APTech Group and the other Green Business Awards finalists will be honored at an awards cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception on March 3 at the Cintas Center at Xavier University in Cincinnati. At the reception, APTech will receive on-stage recognition and a Finalist Award. Once all of the finalists have been recognized, the Courier will announce a winner in each of the four categories.
