Kenneth E. Robbins, CCCA, has been named Denver Office Manager at ASCG Incorporated. Principal-in-Charge David Klein, who heads up the firm’s Rocky Mountain Region, made the announcement.
Robbins joined ASCG in 1990. Since 1994, Robbins has served as the firm’s Barrow, Alaska office manager. He was appointed senior vice president in 1996.
“Ken has played a pivotal role in growing a number of our ASCG offices,” said Klein. “He brings to Denver strong management and leadership skills. In addition, his extensive expertise in both business development and construction/contract administration will prove invaluable as we continue to expand the scope and breadth of our regional services.”
Robbins has supervised a 26-person staff in Barrow since 1998 that provides design and contract administration, water and sewer operations and maintenance oversight services to remote villages in the region. He managed more than 200 capital program projects for the North Slope Borough.
Robbins is a Certified Construction Contractor Administrator (CCCA) and is also certified as a Professional Building Designer. Robbins recently completed a two-year term as president of the American Indian Council of Architects and Engineers and continues to serve on the board of directors. He studied architectural design at Kansas State University and received a certification in cold regions engineering from the University of Alaska at Fairbanks.
