The American Water Works Assn. (AWWA) announced that registration is now open for the 2013 Annual Conference and Exposition (ACE13), to be held June 9 to 13 in Denver. The conference will feature seven in-depth, interactive workshops, 16 professional tracks and more than 550 presentations, plus an exhibit hall full of innovative products and services.
According to AWWA, this year’s professional program has been reengineered with the knowledge, tools and workable solutions the water sector demands for today’s needs and challenges, such as increasing regulatory demands, cultivating an informed workforce, replacing deteriorating infrastructure and maintaining a financially sound organization.
More than 450 service providers also will exhibit at ACE13, showcasing products and services from all aspects of the water industry. Exhibitors will offer everything from pipes to valves, meters to hydrants, engineering services to tank-related products, membrane filtration systems to laboratory equipment, security to wastewater and more.
ACE13 is a networking opportunity with events focusing on diversity issues, young professionals, students, public officials, operators, international attendees and first-time attendees. The annual Pipe-Tapping Contest, Top Ops Competition, Meter Madness and the “Best of the Best” Water Taste Test will be held as well.
