Filters reduce chlorine taste and odor from tap water
Brita introduced the new Brita Bottle featuring a filter inside that allows consumers to enjoy Brita-filtered water anywhere, anytime.
"We know Americans are looking for simple ways to make a difference—not only during Earth Month, but every day," said Tad Kittredge, brand manager, The Clorox Co. "We were inspired to create the Brita Bottle in response to consumers' desire to enjoy great-tasting water on the go while helping to eliminate bottled water waste. In fact, one Brita Bottle filter can replace up to 300 standard 16.9-oz disposable water bottles."
The 20-oz squeezable and reusable bottle is BPA-free, dishwasher-safe and recyclable. It is available in blue or green and can be found at retailers including Walgreens, Target and Meijer. Like other Brita faucet filtration systems and pitchers, the Brita Bottle reduces the odor and taste of chlorine from tap water, according to the company. The Brita Bottle with filter included will retail at $9.99, a twin-pack retails at $18.99 and a two-pack of filter replacements retails at $7.99.
