Water Purifier

Company Reference:

The CoolBlue under-counter water purifier offers microbiological treatment in a three-stage design. Stage 1 utilizes Argonide’s NanoCeram technology with activated carbon for improved taste and the reduction of soluble contaminants. Stage 2 utilizes Fiberdyne technology from Pentair Filtration. Stage 3 uses patent-pending DEAL filtration media, which is optimized to attract, capture and retain submicron particles, including bacteria and viruses.

Disinfection: Safe & Sustainable

While powders and liquids are traditional treatment methods for biofilm, bacteria, algae and fungi in small- to medium-sized closed-loop water systems, many facility service managers are turning to safer, more convenient tablets. Tablet antimicrobial treatment can help improve system performance and help facilities save money on gas and electric costs and decrease the downtime typically required to treat systems, while also providing safety from spills and skin contact risks associated with liquid treatments, and from dust associated with powder treatments.

Disinfection: A Safe Source

I rise before the sun, grab my 5-gal jug and begin my walk to the water treatment trailer. I am just one of many hundreds of people who make the journey to this new watering spot every day for fresh drinking water for my family. In my community, it is not uncommon for there to be five to 10 children per household, whom this jug of water must sustain for the day. Who am I? I am a native of Grande-Saline, Haiti.

Disinfection: Precautions for Microbial Reduction

Point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) water treatment for microbial contaminants requires the end user and sales and service personnel to select their solutions wisely. The wrong choice could result in illness or even death from waterborne pathogens. While many professionals are well aware of water treatment choices, they may not be aware of the precautions necessary for micro- bial reduction applications.
