Disinfection: Safe & Sustainable

While powders and liquids are traditional treatment methods for biofilm, bacteria, algae and fungi in small- to medium-sized closed-loop water systems, many facility service managers are turning to safer, more convenient tablets. Tablet antimicrobial treatment can help improve system performance and help facilities save money on gas and electric costs and decrease the downtime typically required to treat systems, while also providing safety from spills and skin contact risks associated with liquid treatments, and from dust associated with powder treatments.

Disinfection: A Safe Source

I rise before the sun, grab my 5-gal jug and begin my walk to the water treatment trailer. I am just one of many hundreds of people who make the journey to this new watering spot every day for fresh drinking water for my family. In my community, it is not uncommon for there to be five to 10 children per household, whom this jug of water must sustain for the day. Who am I? I am a native of Grande-Saline, Haiti.

Disinfection: Precautions for Microbial Reduction

Point-of-use (POU) and point-of-entry (POE) water treatment for microbial contaminants requires the end user and sales and service personnel to select their solutions wisely. The wrong choice could result in illness or even death from waterborne pathogens. While many professionals are well aware of water treatment choices, they may not be aware of the precautions necessary for micro- bial reduction applications.

Neotech Aqua Solutions

Since 2002, NeoTech Aqua Solutions’ technical team has engineered the world’s most advanced UV technologies for water treatment. Among our technical accomplishments is the first 99.8% reflective chamber which boasts up to ten times greater efficiency compared to standard UV water treatment systems. Such unique efficiencies reduce our clients’ power consumption by up to 90% which saves you money as you do your part to help the environment. Our innovative cost- and power-saving UV technologies also result in fewer lamps, significantly lower bulb replacement costs, a 75% smaller footprint and up to 90% less mercury compared to standard UV systems. Since our systems have as few as one-tenth the number of lamps compared to standard UV systems, our systems also require less maintenance, have fewer replacement parts, and are the coolest-operating UV systems on the market. In fact, NeoTech Aqua has the widest operating temperature range capability in the industry, making our customers uniquely competitive in harsh operating environments. While these patented innovations are exciting, there’s more. Our UV systems may be installed vertically or horizontally and only NeoTech Aqua offers 100% Dosage Assurance™. So whether your goal is total disinfection or complete TOC reduction, you know that you’re getting the job done. With 100% Dosage Assurance™, assay and other testing requirements post-UV are reduced or eliminated.
