SW Premium string-wound cartridges for Hurricane and WaterBetter filter housings are fabricated with the latest technology and provide depth filtration, which primarily retains contaminants within the tortuous passage in the depth of the cartridge wall. Cartridges are wound in a precise pattern around the core, providing dual-gradient filtration with greater surface area. They are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 165°F and will accommodate flow rates up to 150 gpm.
Aqua Flo filter cartridges fit most standard 10- and 20-in. housings and are available in 10 different construction types, including string wound, pleated polyester and dual gradient. Aqua Flo housings include the Big Value series, which comes in a variety of sizes with durable reinforced polypropylene construction and a pressure relief button. The housings have stainless steel reinforced threads, a three-position valve in head, and ship with a mounting bracket, hardware and a filter wrench.
Wound cartridge filters provide true depth filtration, high dirt-holding capacity and low media migration. They are one-piece cartridges manufactured using a high-speed, continuous wind process and are available in a wide variety of lengths and porosities. Filters are available in an almost endless combination of media and core materials to handle virtually any chemical, environment or temperature.
