BlueFlex-A-Prene heavy-duty pump tube, available exclusively for Flex-Pro and Proseries-M peristaltic metering pumps, has been carefully engineered and designed for optimum performance and pressure capability. Offering long tube life, precise flow rate and high chemical resistance, the tube reduces pump maintenance and related costs. The dual-molded tube withstands high pressures, and retrofits onto all Flex-Flo and Proseries-M peristaltic metering pumps currently in the field.
Not all farmers have the newest tractors, advanced watering technologies and thousands of acres of prime tilling soil. This substantial group — the smallholder or subsistence farmers — deserves greater attention. They number 1.5 billion across the globe, from remote villages in Central America and sub-Saharan Africa to the onion fields of India. The average smallholder farmer owns 5 acres of land or fewer.
Stepping pump helps farmers work quickly & effectively
C1 Series stainless steel submersible cistern pumps are designed for use in greywater/filtered effluent service applications, with the ability to pass solids up to 1/8 in. in diameter during normal operation without impacting the life of the pump. The pumps are constructed with a 304 stainless steel motor and outer shell with engineered polymer hydraulics, providing corrosion resistance and abrasive handling. The series is available in flow ratings of 10, 20 and 30 gpm.
CF-12 model chemical feed pump controllers are for low flow set point applications and pipe sizes from ¾ to 2 in. The CF-8 models are for higher set points, such as in commercial and irrigation applications, on pipe from 1 to 12 in. Both models include switches and always-on receptacles.
The Chem-Pro M Series metering pump has a large, easy-to-read LCD that shows output rate, a 4-20 mA output, a stainless steel pump head and NSF 61 listing. The pump also features the single-piece DiaFlex diaphragm, manufactured 100% in house of molded Kynar, which offers zero delamination or breakdown. Optional advanced communications include Industrial Ethernet, Modbus TCP, ProfiNet, Modbus and Profibus.
Pumpology School offers hands-on demonstrations and classroom training from industry experts
Thompson Pump & Mfg. Co. Inc. held its 24th annual Pumpology School April 23 to 25 at its corporate facilities in Port Orange, Fla.
This pump line features heavy-duty cast-iron construction, high-efficiency design and hassle-free setup. Professional pumps have 360-degree float protection and high-efficiency motors. XD pumps have a non-wicking cord to prevent water from entering the motor, and the top-suction design reduces clogging and eliminates air lock, as well as the need to drill weep holes. Sump pumps have snap action switches, and backup pump systems have microprocessor controllers with proprietary algorithms for accurate status reporting and battery charging.
