This stainless steel tank has a downflow design with no moving parts. It is constructed of T-304 stainless steel of low carbon content with a heli-arc welded top and bottom and a fusion seam-welded shell. The top has three openings: one 1.5-in. threaded hole for filling and two 1-in. threaded holes in the top of the inlet and outlet tank connectors.

Sleek, black neoprene sweat jackets are available for tanks ranging in size from 9 by 48 in. to 14 by 65 in. The jacket is easily fastened around the tank with a full-length zipper on the backside that holds it securely in place. The Mixmaster baffle tank offers improved water retention. The composite tank incorporates its patented interior baffle, which increases retention factors for chemical disinfection of potable water. The tank supports the 4-log treatment of pathogens, and the baffle design allows for increased contact on chemical feed treatment systems. It is available in 80- and 120-gal sizes.
