The H-300-NXT Everpure line of luxury residential water filtration products is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 401 for the removal of contaminants such as pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter medications and chemical compounds including bisphenol A. The pleated filter membrane is 30% larger than the standard H-300 and provides 50% greater dirt-holding capacity and contaminant reduction capability while maintaining longer filter life. The drinking water system can be installed in kitchens or wet bars and can be connected to appliances.

Later this month, Pentair will release its newest product, the H-300-NXT, an addition to its Everpure residential line of luxury water filtration products. The system reduces emerging contaminants like pharmaceuticals, over-the-counter medications and chemical compounds like bisphenol A that may be found in drinking water.

The manufacturer states that the larger filter design provides greater dirt-holding capacity, “ideal for parts of the country where high silt content in water is a concern.”

Filtering water in the washing machine reduces water consumption by 30%

Through a joint development with Dow Water & Process Solutions (DW&PS), Haier Group has commercialized the first Casarte eco-friendly washing machine using Dow ultrafiltration (UF) technology. The washing machine is designed and built with the new Dow Purinze UF module, which facilitates more than 30% reduction in water consumption while improving water quality by removing as much as 99 percent of common bacteria.
