Kemflo Intl. announced its first investment in HydroNovation Inc. as part of the company’s Series C financing. During this round, the 3M Co. also increased its preferred shareholdings. HydroNovation, based in based in San Francisco, Calif., is a developer of next generation water conditioning systems for residential and food service industry applications. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Water purification system removes contaminants from well and surface waters using hydrogen peroxide, ozone and UF technologies
Clean Water Systems has introduced its new line of easy-to-install peroxide-ozone water treatment systems with ultrafiltration (UF) to meet the needs of homeowners and small communities with contaminated well waters.
The new type of hydrogen peroxide water treatment system is called Peroxone-UF-2.0. It combines hydrogen peroxide injection, ozone, catalytic activated carbon and custom UF membranes to provide a complete disinfection and filtration system requiring minimal maintenance.
UL will provide testing services for public water systems serving fewer than 10,000 people
Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) has won a contract from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to test samples from small public water systems serving 10,000 people or fewer for contaminants listed in the third cycle of EPA's Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR 3) program.
