First place winner of the FTW competition will be awarded a $15,000 prize
Entries are currently being accepted in the Future Technologies for Water (FTW) Competition. Managed by the University of North Carolina's Water Institute and sponsored by Takata Corp., the competition seeks to identify breakthrough technologies for safe water with wide-scale applicability and backed by a sustainable business plan. A $15,000 prize will be awarded to the first-place winner, and $5,000 to the second-place winner.
Entries must be submitted in the form of a one-page summary and should relate to one of the following themes:
