Company provides treatment systems for healthcare and industry
Degremont, a subsidiary of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT, announced that it completed the acquisition of AmeriWater, a specialist in high-purity water production.
Based in Dayton, Ohio, AmeriWater has been operating since 1995 and is a recognized specialist in the design, manufacturing and supply of high-purity water treatment systems for the healthcare market, with a broad range of systems specifically designed for all areas of hospitals and clinics. The company also offers a full line of solutions for industrial applications with a product line that includes cooling tower filters, reverse osmosis systems, deionizers, filters and softeners, as well as related services.
AmeriWater has more than 40 employees, an active onsite service group and an in-house manufacturing facility. It is present throughout North America via an established network of dealers.
Diane Dolan will remain in her capacity as AmeriWater CEO. “We are thrilled to join forces with Degremont,” she said. “The resulting synergies position our entire organization to strengthen our market share with an even broader assortment of products and services.” AmeriWater Vice President James Baker will continue to provide technical expertise and will lead the product development strategy.

AmeriWater will be integrated into Degremont’s Equipment Business Line, joining other equipment manufacturers, suppliers and service providers that operate under the Degremont Technologies banner around the world.
