Delaware Receives $19.2 Million in Recovery Funds for Clean Water
Money will go to the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) presented $19.2 million of American Recovery & Reinvestment Act funding to the state of Delaware for the Clean Water State Revolving Fund Program. The funds will enable construction of water infrastructure projects that will create jobs and protect public health.
The award was presented July 2 at Delaware Seashore State Park in Dewey Beach, Del., with Governor Jack A. Markell, Senators Thomas R. Carper and Edward E. Kaufman and Representative Michael N. Castle in attendance.
