Axeon Water Technologies has enhanced the R1-Series reverse osmosis (RO) system offering with three new models. These systems are engineered and manufactured for commercial and light industrial applications up to 20,000 gal per day. The high-efficiency systems use Axeon ultra-low-energy membrane elements that deliver high-quality water with improved energy efficiency.
The RO systems feature Goulds multi-stage stainless steel booster pumps for longevity and optimal performance. Every system is fully tested at the factory with complete performance testing, and only requires simple utility connections (feedwater inlet, product water outlet, concentrate water outlet and power). The systems arrive pre-plumbed and wired for immediate on-line service and minimal set up, with little configuring required. The design of the systems makes them easy to service, provides years of trouble-free operation and offers a reliable water treatment solution.
The new RO systems’ frame design allows for easy access for servicing, maintenance and monitoring of the their overall performance. The systems come standard with fiberglass pressure vessels that can withstand pressures of up to 300 psi and are resistant to various climate conditions and chemicals. Systems come standard with a 5-µ prefilter, low-pressure switch to protect the pump, and permeate and concentrate flowmeters, as well as filter in/out, pump discharge and concentrate pressure gauges. All systems use Axeon’s AX150 computer controllers for automated system operations and monitoring.
