The webinar will introduce attendees to some of the new social media sites
The Illinois Section of the American Water Works Assn. (ISAWWA) will host a social media webinar, Monday, June 30, 2014. The webinar, “The Next Generation of Social Media: Beyond Facebook and Twitter,” will be presented by Abby Crisostomo and Pam Broviak. The younger generation has migrated out of Facebook, Myspace and Twitter. In order to keep up and communicate with them, the water industry needs to know how to use the same technology. The webinar will introduce attendees to some of the new social media sites and show how they can be used to see the "voice" of the next generation
The webinar is free for ISAWWA members and $30 for nonmembers (day-of registration is $50). The webinar will begin at 12 p.m. CDT and conclude by 1 p.m. After registering, attendees will receive an e-mail with all materials and links needed to participate in the webinar.
