Wallace&Tiernan Products began in 1913 with the invention of the world’s first chlorinator, later recognized as one of the most significant inventions of the 20 Th century and credited with the elimination of water borne diseases.
This technological innovation required engineering vision and mechanical skills, and the Wallace&Tiernan Products staff became adept at using their product knowledge to develop a continuing variety of unique products. The company grew through innovation. As the product line broadened, the company entered totally new areas of activity as one idea generated another.
Less then 10 years after its founding, Wallace&Tiernan Products developed dry chemical feeders.
