ITT Industries, Inc. has named Riccardo Trossi to the position of president of ITT's Motion and Flow Control group. He succeeds Brenda Reichelderfer, who was recently selected to head the company's Electronic Components group. Trossi was previously president of ITT's Galfer business unit, based in Barge, Italy.

Trossi joined ITT Industries' predecessor company, ITT Corporation, in 1977, and was named president and managing director of Galfer in 1983. He was awarded ITT Industries' prestigious Chairman's Award for Operational Excellence in 2002 and the Harold S. Geneen Award for Individual Achievement in 2001. He is a graduate of the Institute Tecnico Avogadro in Torino, Italy.
