Liquid Salvation, the bottled water in a flask with a sexy she-devil logo, was selected to be the first and exclusive bottled water at Hogs & Heifers Las Vegas, which opened on July 6. The original Hogs & Heifers in New York was the inspiration for the movie, "Coyote Ugly," and is known worldwide for its raucous, honky-tonk energy where bartenders and patrons sing and dance on the bar.
For its newest location, Michelle Dell, owner, was quick to recognize Liquid Salvation's irreverent, playful attitude as a perfect match for Hogs & Heifers Las Vegas. "In all my years in the bar business, I never served bottled water until I saw this one," Dell said.
Liquid Salvation founder, Chris "Reverend" Warner, welcomes the evenly matched synergy and added, "We appreciate the genuine, fun-loving environment of Hogs & Heifers, where people can go to have a great time and ask for the flask."
Based in Lake Tahoe, Nev., Liquid Salvation water is bottled from natural, mountain springs throughout the United States. The flask, which is styled after the World War II fighter pilot's flask, is easy to pack in a back pocket, carry-on luggage, or jacket. The company encourages environmentalism with its blunt reminder on the label, "Don't Be a Moron; Recycle!"
Launched just last fall, Liquid Salvation is already sold in many other clubs around the country, including OPM in Las Vegas, Nev. and Mood in Los Angeles, Calif. Liquid Salvation can also be found at ski resorts, tattoo parlors, skate shops and trendy salons, as well as grocery and convenience stores.
The Liquid Salvation water wagon, a colorfully wrapped 30-foot motor coach travels to festivals, special events and sporting events along the west coast to help build brand awareness and "combat the evil effects of dehydration," as Warner puts it.
