WCA holding its 29th Annual Conference and Tradeshow at MGM Grand in Las Vegas
The Western Carwash Assn. (WCA) is holding its 29th Annual Conference and Tradeshow on Oct. 11 to 13, 2010, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. WCA's tradeshow is the longest and largest running regional carwash show and has been held in Las Vegas for the last 15 years, according to the association.
"The purpose of the conference and tradeshow is to provide a forum for sales opportunities, education and networking for current owners/operators of car washes as well as potential investors," said Ross Hutchings, WCA executive director. "WCA is consistently recognized by attendees and exhibitors as the finest regional tradeshow. Whether you are just beginning your research into the industry, or looking for the latest innovations to improve your existing wash, the WCA tradeshow really is the best opportunity for someone in the business to be educated and informed."
On Monday, Oct. 11, a variety of educational opportunities will be provided--from keynote presentations to breakout workshops, a networking lunch and an opening reception. Tuesday, Oct. 12, will begin with industry awards recognition and business updates, followed by a second keynote.
The tradeshow opens at 11 a.m. and will run until 6 p.m. A series of "Nuts and Bolts" short courses for full-serve and self-serve operators will be presented in a dedicated classroom located on the tradeshow floor. The “Catch the Wave" reception on the tradeshow floor will take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct, 13, the tradeshow begins at 9 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. The final two "Nuts and Bolts" education sessions will also be presented during this time frame.
