System filters water using patented five-step process with UV and ozone
Zuvo Water LLC announced that Hansgrohe has introduced a new line of beverage faucets designed to work in conjunction with the Zuvo Water Filtration System. Hansgrohe will offer the faucets separately or bundled with under-counter Zuvo systems.
As a result of the partnership, Hansgrohe now offers consumers complete restaurant-quality kitchen water filtration at an affordable price point.
According the Zuvo, the Zuvo Water Filtration System is a compact appliance that produces the fresh-tasting water more cost-effectively and eco-consciously than pitcher filters and bottled water. The Zuvo unit process water in a series of steps that mimic a natural cleansing processes. Its five-step patented process (ozonation, UV light exposure, photo oxidation, activated carbon filtration and dual pass UV), exposes water to ultraviolet light and ozone to kill waterborne bacteria and microorganisms, then traps particles and dissolved solids in a carbon filter before exposing the filtered water to a final UV pass.
Zuvo is filtered straight from the tap, ensuring the water is as fresh as possible. There is no waiting and the supply is not limited to the size of the container; its supply is virtually unlimited and can be used for anything from filling a water glass to filling a soup pot.
Zuvo is both eco-friendly and dollar-conscious. Zuvo helps reduce the number water bottles that end up in landfills every year. The cost of drinking Zuvo-processed water also saves money; it is as little as $.06 per gallon, compared to nearly $.20 per gallon for pitcher-filtered water and over $1 per gallon for bottled water.
