NSF-certified product removes iron oxide build-up in wells and pipes
Following NSF approval earlier this year, well cleaner Boresaver Ultra C will be officially launched in America next week at the National Ground Water Assn. (NGWA) Groundwater Expo in Las Vegas on Dec. 8 and 9.
Boresaver Ultra C is a cleaning treatment that removes iron oxide deposits that build up in wells, bores, pipes and pumps, as well as controls contamination from iron-related bacteria. Certified by the NSF for use in potable water supplies, it is safe, easy-to-use, biodegradable and environmentally friendly. Used in over 14 countries worldwide, the Boresaver range improves water supply quality, increases output and extends the working life of pumping equipment and accessories.
The NGWA Groundwater Expo in Las Vegas is a major industry event for groundwater professionals. Geoquip and Aquabiotics will be joining Laval Underground Surveys, the American Boresaver partner, to showcase the Boresaver range, as well as demonstrate the Laval Downhole Video Camera, a recommended part of the Boresaver treatment program.
The Boresaver range of products offers powerful cleaning solutions for water supply systems and equipment contaminated with iron oxide, manganese oxide, iron related bacteria and calcium carbonate. Typical applications for Boresaver include geothermal, pipelines, water supply wells, quarrying, mining, leachate pumping, irrigation and remediation.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Laval Underground Systems and to be launching this product into the American water industry,” said Mike Deed, managing director of Geoquip Water Solutions, the European and international partner of Aquabiotics Industrial Pty. Ltd. of Australia. “We have received very high levels of interest in Boresaver Ultra C and are looking forward to meeting customers at the expo next week.”
