Company offers new and upgraded products, plus a new website and logo
WELLMATE by Pentair Inc., a composite tank producer for more than 50 years, invested in product upgrades designed to improve customer profitability. The company’s many new product benefits include industry-first “Quick Connect” captive air tanks with an adaptor that accommodates various connections, making installation flexible. The “Quick Connect” air tanks also offer installers advantages such as less time for installation, service and replacement. Additional WELLMATE product upgrades include new composite tank design construction that is half the weight of steel systems, and chlorine-resistant butyl air cells that extend the life of WELLMATE tanks where chlorinated water is present.
The company also has made upgrades to the WELLMATE brand’s look and feel. WELLMATE has a new logo that is printed on all new tanks and marketing materials for customers, and a new website and educational company video that can be used as a sales tool for wholesalers. The company also is planning to implement marketing and public relations efforts to promote the brand in 2011.
“WELLMATE has been a trusted name in the wholesale market for many years and we are excited to give the product line and brand a new competitive edge in the marketplace,” said Neal White, Pentair Residential Filtration national sales manager. “The ‘Quick Connect’ upgrade to the WELLMATE product line, as well as the new butyl air cell design, also give contractors and wholesalers an opportunity to improve their profitability with easier installation, service and replacement.”
WELLMATE tanks contain no steel, so they do not rust. They require little or no maintenance because their fiberglass-wound and epoxy-resin-sealed outer shells do not dent, and there is no paint to scratch or touch up. The WELLMATE tanks are also lead-free, and will not introduce undesirable chemicals or elements into water.
