System improves water quality for food preparation
Eco-Safe Systems USA Inc. announced its first installation for the Marriott Intl. Inc. international hotel chain.
"We are delighted to announce that the flagship hotel of Marriott Intl. has installed an Eco-Safe Ozone Disinfection System for their banquet service kitchens,” said Eco-Safe President Michael Elliot. “The chefs at this hotel have used our system extensively for months, recognize the importance of food safety and love our product. Just as with our other restaurant clients, they were thrilled with the many ways that our system improves the quality of the food they prepare, the healthy advantages associated with employee food preparation and the tremendous advantages for their workflow.”
According to Elliot, the system improves both safety and efficiency. For example, he said, lettuce rinsed with ozone does not develop brown spots when cut, allowing chefs to make salads ahead of time and avoid last-minute preparations.
