Bicyclists will trek across the U.S. to raise money for water causes
Record-setting ocean rowers Katie Spotz and Sam Williams are getting ready for their next big challenge, a 24-hour, non-stop, 3,000-mile bicycle race across America. They named their trek Ride for Your Lives!, as they raise funds for Blue Planet Network and FARM-Africa during their journey.
To celebrate the journey, Kinetico, a sponsor of Spotz and Williams during their trek, is hosting an online sweepstakes at www.kinetico.com [1] featuring three prizes. The U.S. national grand prize winner will receive $1,000 in cash or a Kinetico K5 Drinking Water Station, valued at $1,800.
The first prize winner will receive $500 in cash or a Kinetico A200 drinking water system valued at approximately $800. The second prize winner will receive $250 in cash or a Kinetico MACGuard Filter with an estimated retail value of approximately $250.
To enter, visit www.kinetico.com [2] or Kinetico’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/kineticowater [2], between June 13 and 29. Entrants may complete one entry per person per day. At approximately 12:00 p.m. on June 29, three winners will be selected in a random drawing.
