Pooltest 25 photometer conducts multiple water quality tests for pools used in 2012 Olympic events
Palintest’s Pooltest 25 Professional Plus photometer is helping to maintain the water quality at London’s new Aquatics Center for the 2012 Olympic events. The Pooltest 25 was also used to ensure swimming pool conditions at the 2008 games in Beijing and the 2004 games in Sydney.
The Pooltest 25 photometer is designed for full-range testing of swimming pool water quality. London’s Aquatic Center will use it to measure free residual chlorine, total residual chlorine, pH, alkalinity, hardness and other water quality parameters.
Palintest is the inventor of the DPD test, which is the international standard for residual chlorine testing. The Pooltest 25 integrates this test with other advanced chemical analysis technology, allowing portable testing and rapid results. Test data can be directly transferred to a computer or control system for analysis via a USB port.
