For small business owners like Dill, who often must divide their time between the office and working in the field, devices such as smart phones and tablets can be extremely valuable for keeping up with the many day-to-day tasks that go into running a company. There are many apps available to help owners and employees stay organized while in the field, from e-mail to calendars to maps — and those are just the basics.
Additionally, many companies have begun to use tablets to aid their sales presentations.
