TalkingRain honored in the Small Companies category
TalkingRain has been recognized as the 2013 Company of the Year at the global beverage conference, the Beverage Forum. The Beverage Marketing Corp. and Beverage World magazine grant the award annually to recognize excellent performance in the beverage industry. TalkingRain was honored in the Small Companies category, which recognizes one organization with less than $1 billion in revenue.
"This is a very exciting time for TalkingRain and Sparkling ICE, and we are thrilled to be honored with this prestigious award, placing TalkingRain in the company of so many notable brands," said Kevin Klock, CEO of TalkingRain. "We have seen tremendous growth in recent years and are excited to continue our expansion and presence in the bottled water category as we grow to become the next billion dollar brand."
TalkingRain attributes the company's recent unprecedented growth to an increased focus on its Sparkling ICE brand. In 2013, TalkingRain will launch its first multi-million dollar national advertising campaign for Sparkling ICE, currently consisting of out-of-home advertisements across top markets in the U.S. with more channels on the horizon.
The Beverage Forum honor complements recent trade awards and industry recognition for the Sparkling ICE brand, including the 2011 and 2012 IRI New Product Pacesetters reports, this year's Boston Consulting Group & IRI Momentum Report, the 2012 InterBev Awards "Best Sparkling Beverage" and the BevNET Best of 2012 Awards "Best Enhanced Water."
The Sparkling ICE flavor family features coconut pineapple, lemon lime, kiwi strawberry, classic lemonade, lemonade with tea, raspberry lemonade, strawberry lemonade, orange mango, pomegranate blueberry, pink grapefruit, black raspberry, crisp apple and peach nectarine, with more flavor expansions on the horizon.
