Company will begin shipping water filter bottles this fall
Puration Inc., a Dallas-based water-purification products company, announced that it has begun making sales of water filter bottles to be shipped worldwide in September 2012.
The company has been working on design, development and production of its new product line since mid-2011, and is on schedule for its targeted shipment date.
"We are very pleased to announce our first-ever sales of our flagship product line. The hard work of our development and manufacturing team in meeting our targeted shipment date of September 2012 will allow us to meet long-standing delivery commitments to our valued customers," said Marc Firestone, director of sales and marketing for Puration.
The company’s water filter bottles each produce up to 400 bottles of filtered water on-the-go from each replaceable filter, and may be refilled at any water faucet or fountain with ordinary tap water. The bottles are made from recycled, biodegradable, BPA-free, food-grade plastic.
"The commencement of product shipments marks the end of an arduous development process and leaves our ‘pre-revenue’ classification in the past,” said Puration CEO Don Harris. “The long-awaited inauguration of product sales in this, our third quarter of 2012, is a significant milestone in our company's growth."
