Increase is a result of higher raw material, energy and transportation costs
Ion exchange resin manufacturer Purolite announced that it will increase prices on all grades of resins and adsorbents by 8% to 12% globally. This will be implemented immediately for all spot purchases and for contracts as allowed or upon renewal.
The increase is a direct result of raw material, energy and freight increases that have been imposed upon Purolite. Vice President Jacob Brodie stated that the price increase is necessary to allow Purolite to maintain its ongoing commitment to innovation, technology and service in the industry.
