Las Vegas event expects 320 exhibitors this year
An all-time record number of exhibiting organizations will participate in the 2010 Ground Water Expo and Annual meeting in Las Vegas this December, the National Ground Water Assn. (NGWA) announced.
The 320 exhibitors tops the old record of 316 set at the 2006 expo, also in Las Vegas. This year’s exhibitors will occupy 68,000 sq ft of floor space. Thirty-four new exhibiting companies will be present.
The expo and annual meeting takes place December 7 to 10, and the exposition floor will be open December 8 and 9. The number of pre-registered attendees is 4,000 and rising.
“With two weeks still to go, this already is a record-breaking show,” said NGWA Executive Director Kevin McCray. “If you want to see the latest and greatest in groundwater industry products and technology, the expo is the place to be.”
Other events with separate registration during the expo include the Groundwater Industry Business Leaders Forum and Luncheon on Dec. 9, the forum, “Petroleum Hydrocarbons and Organic Chemicals in Ground Water: Prevention, Detection and Remediation,” on Dec. 9, and Geothermal Drilling Mud and Grouting School on Dec. 10.
