Recreonics Earns Pool, Spa Operator Certification
The company’s sales team achieved recertification through NSPF’s CPO certification program
Recreonics Inc.’s entire national sales team achieved recertification through the Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) certification program created by the nonprofit National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF).
The sales team members completed the course through the blended Fusion program offered by NSPF. Each participant enrolled in the online NSPF Pool Operator Primer course and upon achieving a successful record of completion, completed a one-day CPO certification classroom course and test.
“We believe it is so important for our sales consultants to have the same high level of training as our customers, providing assurance that our team has the depth of knowledge and background to effectively assist them in every way,” said Michael Garland, executive vice president of Recreonics Inc. “The average tenure of our sales team is over 20 years; for many of them, this is the fourth or fifth time they have been re-certified. Our greatest resource as a company is the knowledge base and dedication of our sales consultants.”
“By earning a CPO certification, industry professionals gain exposure to a spectrum of issues and solutions to protect users and improve the aquatic experience,” said Thomas M. Lachocki, Ph.D., CEO of the NSPF.
The CPO certification program is taught by an NSPF certified instructor and includes pool and spa chemistry, testing, treatment, filtration, maintenance, automatic feeding equipment, and government regulations, including the most current information on the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act, American Disability Act regulations and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention Model Aquatic Health Code.
