Markel Corp. announced the appointment of Robert E. Jerman to vice president, Market Development.
Formerly vice president and general manager of Fluortek Compounding, Inc. and Manager of Technology with Rohm and Haas, Jerman has an extensive background in fluoropolymer resins. He has a BS from Bucknell and an MS in chemical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
Jerman will direct the development of specific markets to leverage the core competency of fluoropolymer extrusions at Markel with a strong focus on the filtration of water and other fluids and chemicals employing porous PTFE tubing products.
