After almost two years as associate editor for the Water Quality Products team, I am honored to step in as the new managing editor of WQP.
I can’t imagine a more exciting time to be involved in the water treatment industry. Recent months have dealt the industry a tough economic hand, but water professionals have demonstrated their resilience and creativity, using innovation and hard work to not only stay afloat, but also thrive. As the economy shows signs of life once again, this hard work makes the industry better positioned to take advantage of new opportunities.
Moving forward, I plan to help you keep tabs on important emerging issues for our industry, including legislation targeting water softeners and the ever-advancing goal of water efficiency as manufacturers and dealers face tightening environmental regulations.
Along with the rest of the WQP team, I will strive to provide high-quality editorial content that helps you do your job better—and, ultimately, advances our industry—whether through articles with sales tips and technology updates, interviews with industry experts, up-to-date news on www.wqpmag.com or e-Newsletters highlighting innovative products and successful water professionals.
Your feedback is invaluable and helps us put a finger on the pulse of the industry, so I wholeheartedly encourage you to write, e-mail or call me to voice your concerns, share any relevant news and let me know what you would like to see on the pages of WQP in the future.
I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible at upcoming industry events.
