Social media is a term that seems to be everywhere these days. From Facebook to Twitter to LinkedIn and more — with so many possibilities there are many ways to reach current and prospective customers, but it is often hard to know where to start.
Craig Grant, president of Quality Water Conditioning Inc. and the February Dealer of the Month, know that it is crucial for his business to have a presence on the Web. “I don’t think in this day and age you could exist without having a website,” he said. “I don’t think many younger people and even older people use the phonebook anymore.”
As traditional advertising methods bring in fewer customer, newer avenues, like social media, will become all the more important. Even though he is a self-proclaimed “low-tech guy,” Grant plans to expand his company’s online presence through social media. “We are going to be extending our presence in those places over the years,” he said.
