In the lead-up to the Final Four, it may be a big week for NCAA basketball — but it is an even bigger week for the water quality industry, with WQA Aquatech USA 2013 taking place April 2 to 5 in Indianapolis. And what better place to be during March Madness than the home of the NCAA headquarters? (Besides in some courtside seats at the big game, that is.)
The tradeshow officially tipped off this morning with the Industry Update/Opening General Session, featuring an address by Water Quality Assn. (WQA) President Dar Watts, the presentation of the WQA Leadership Awards and a presentation by keynote speaker Roger Seip.
The afternoon promises further excitement, with the exhibition officially opening at 11 a.m. Hundreds of companies will be showcasing their latest products and solutions, while education sessions will continue throughout the day, including some sessions taking place right on the tradeshow floor.
The basketball theme will continue on into the night, with the new Welcome Reception: Networking Party event, being held at the NCAA Hall of Champions. In addition to networking opportunities, drinks and hors d’oeuvres, attendees will get the chance to test out their basketball skills in a 1930s-style gymnasium.
If you’re at the show, be sure to stop by booth #1015 to meet with WQP staff and pick up copies of the magazine!
