Water Works Industry Solutions Partners with NASCAR Driver to Support Education

June 13, 2007

On Wednesday, June 20 Water Works Industry Solutions, a company specializing in waterworks construction training, in conjunction with 2004 NASCAR Nextel Cup Champion Kurt Busch, will be presenting a check for $105,000 to the ACE Charter School.

A portion of this donation will be used to supply ACE students with water works training and installation DVD's. Western Nevada Supply will also be presenting a check for $25,000, which will be used to provide ACE students with state-of-the-art training modules that will offer them hands-on experience in the new irrigation and plumbing curriculum. This will be the largest single monetary donation ever made to the ACE Charter School, according to school officials. Kurt Busch's #2 Miller Lite Dodge car will also be on hand for this event.

Prior to becoming a world-famous NASCAR driver, Kurt Busch was an employee of the Las Vegas Valley Water District and supports the advancement of technical programs in education.

Water Works Industry Solutions has created strategic partnerships with Western Nevada Supply, the ACE Charter School, and the Kurt Busch Foundation in order to promote education and training in the construction field.
