WaterGroup moves its distribution location to Libertyville, Ill., and hires a new district sales manager
WaterGroup announced that its new location in Libertyville, Ill., will become its central distribution point for Hydrotech and WaterGroup products in the U.S., with satellite warehouses serving regional market needs.
“The new Libertyville location furthers our commitment to company growth and our investment in customer satisfaction,” said John McCarthy, director of U.S. sales for WaterGroup. “Deliveries throughout the U.S. and international markets will expand with a more centralized location and critical assembly processes will improve through utilization of new equipment."
WaterGroup’s U.S. headquarters and customer service representatives will still be based in Fridley, Minn., with local inventory to support the dealer base in that market.
The company also announced that Matt Wirth joined its Hydrotech Div. as a district sales manager covering Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

He frequently participates as a guest speaker and trainer in many industry events, including Water Quality Assn. events. Additionally, he has been published as an industry expert in several leading trade publications, offering his knowledge of water treatment.
“Matt’s training and application expertise serve as a great asset for our dealers in the Midwest territory,” said David Taft, national sales manager for the U.S. for WaterGroup. “With his strong knowledge of residential, commercial, industrial and food service water treatment needs, Matt will help us increase our already strong presence in the Midwest.”
