World Health Organization Seeks Consultants to Aid in Philippines Typhoon Relief

The World Health Organization (WHO) is leading the Health Cluster efforts in response to Typhoon Yolanda/Haiyan. WHO is currently seeking consultants to be deployed to respond to the following needs:
 
  • WASH (water, sanitation and hygiene) in healthcare facilities (and implementation of minimum WHO standards);
  • Water quality testing and treatment; and
  • Household water treatment and hygiene.
 
Deployment would take place in the coming weeks and would last from a minimum of three weeks up to six months. Interested parties should contact Maggie Montgomery at montgomerym@who.int. Please include your resume and a brief letter outlining your experience in WASH in emergencies, as well as familiarity with WHO guidance and recommendations.
