Challenges and opportunities discussed at the Opening General Session
WQA President Doug White addressed the water quality industry at the Opening General Session of the WQA Aquatech USA show on March 18.
White discussed the current state of the industry and challenges to be faced in the coming months. The water quality enhancement industry must be prepared to face new laws, code changes and regulations in the coming year, according to White. The industry will also have to committ itself to developing and evolving new technologies and solutions in order to face current challenges, all with the goal of developing sensible, science-based solutions.
White also discussed various research the WQA will undertake in the next year, such as the Battelle Study, which will demonstrate that water softeners are in fact energy savers.
