The Water Quality Assn. (WQA) issued a call for volunteers. The deadline to apply to volunteer is Monday, Jan. 23, 2017.
WQA would not be successful without the hard work and expertise of its members who volunteer on committees and task forces throughout the year. These important positions provide input and guidance on the various issues and challenges WQA must address.
To get involved, visit the WQA website to learn more about the various committees, their current members, and the committee charges and responsibilities. To volunteer, simply click on the page of the committee on which you'd like to serve. You'll see an "Apply to Join this Committee" button at the bottom of the page. Members may apply for an open seat on up to two of the association’s committees.
Note that while no volunteer may serve as a voting member on more than two committees, there is no limit to the number of committees a volunteer may join in the role of an observer.
