Independent testing shows most appropriate products
Following a recent community boil order in Colorado, the Water Quality Assn. reminded residents that they can find home water treatment products that have undergone independent testing for effectiveness.
WQA tests and certifies products for effectiveness. The association uses the microbiological guide standard established by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
The association also offers certification for trained professionals to help give consumers confidence about the knowledge and ethical standards of local dealers.
“The companies that put their products and staff through our tests are committed to quality workmanship,” said Dave Haataja, CEO of WQA. “They know it’s the right thing to do, and they want their customers to look to them with confidence.”
