Global bottled water market reached more than $157 billion in 2013
Boreal Water Collection Inc. announced that it landed a large distribution agreement in China with COFCO, the largest supplier of diversified products and services in the agricultural products and food industry in China, and received from them the first order for 10 containers of Boreal Baby Water.
According to a new report by Transparency Market Research, China is the most active market worldwide for bottled water. The Asia Pacific region dominated the global bottled water market and accounted for 33% of the global demand, valued at approximately $157.27 billion in 2013. In the coming six years, this region is expected to remain the most promising market, with an estimated compound annual growth rate of 10.5% in terms of revenue from 2014 to 2020. The market is expected to reach $279.65 billion by 2020.
