Hydrotech Launches Redesigned Website

Hydrotech announced the launch of the company’s newly redesigned website.

The website features a clean design with easy navigation and accessible information. New product information and manuals are available in the products section, where products are separated by product lines. The dealer protected area allows Hydrotech dealers to access marketing material, online product order forms and more.


WaterGroup Opens New Florida Warehouse

WaterGroup opened a new warehouse location at 5405 Boran Place in Tampa, Fla. The location is conveniently located off Interstate 4 and already has stock available and ready to ship to regional customers. The new warehouse also will act as a main shipping point for many of the company's Florida customers, which will save regional customers freight and time.


WaterGroup to Host Events in September

WaterGroup will host two major events in September. The first is WaterGroup University, a two-day training event held in Cambridge, Ontario on Sept. 10 to 11. This training session is exclusively for dealers seeking more education and knowledge about system design, valves and troubleshooting. Both WaterGroup and Fleck products will be featured prominently during the event. The first day will focus specifically on residential applications while the second day will emphasize commercial systems.


WaterGroup Opens San Antonio Warehouse

WaterGroup opened a new warehouse location in San Antonio, Texas. Located at 4321 Profit Dr., WaterGroup’s new site currently holds stock ready to distribute to customers. This new location will become the main shipping point for many of WaterGroup’s Texas customers, saving regional customers freight and time.  Additionally, WaterGroup’s customer service team will arrange local pickup at the customer’s request and will automatically route regional customer orders to the best WaterGroup warehouse location depending upon stock and availability.


Hydrotech Hires District Sales Managers

WaterGroup announced that Rodney Carmer joined its Hydrotech Div. as a district sales manager covering the California market. In this new role, he will be responsible for developing and expanding this market.


WaterGroup Announces New U.S. Distribution Hub, New Hire

WaterGroup announced that its new location in Libertyville, Ill., will become its central distribution point for Hydrotech and WaterGroup products in the U.S., with satellite warehouses serving regional market needs.

“The new Libertyville location furthers our commitment to company growth and our investment in customer satisfaction,” said John McCarthy, director of U.S. sales for WaterGroup. “Deliveries throughout the U.S. and international markets will expand with a more centralized location and critical assembly processes will improve through utilization of new equipment."


WaterGroup Hires Anthony Shurr for Commercial Market

Anthony Shurr has joined WaterGroup as a commercial estimator and technician. In this role, Shurr will work directly with WaterGroup’s Senior Inside Sales Coordinator, Kevin Howatt, to quote commercial products and offer support to customers with commercial and industrial application expertise.


WaterGroup Streamlines Operations

WaterGroup has made a strategic business decision to centralize and expand its manufacturing, assembly and distribution centers. Canadian operations will remain in Calgary, Alberta, and Cambridge, Ontario, with U.S. operations in Fridley, Minn., and Libertyville, Ill. According to WaterGroup, this decision will better serve WaterGroup’s customers by improving "just-in-time" delivery throughout Canada and providing additional support for U.S. and international business expansion. As a result, WaterGroup will close its manufacturing plant in Regina, Saskatchewan, by September 2013.


WaterGroup & Pentair Extend Distribution Agreement

WaterGroup and Pentair Residential Filtration announced a renewed exclusive Fleck valve distribution agreement for the Canadian marketplace through 2016.

“This is an important bellwether for WaterGroup as we continue our partnership with Pentair as their exclusive distributor of Fleck valves in Canada," said Ryan Kirk, vice president and general manager for WaterGroup. "We have proudly promoted Fleck valves with our core WaterGroup brands and view this agreement as recognition of our loyalty and ongoing sales support for Fleck’s valves in Canada.”

WaterGroup Names New Western Canada Sales Manager

WaterGroup, a provider of water treatment solutions throughout North America, announced the hiring of Theresa Koetsier as western Canada sales manager. 

In this new role, she will be responsible for growing and shaping WaterGroup’s western sales teams, both internally and externally, using her expertise and relationships developed over 17 years in water treatment and wholesale distribution.


WaterGroup Names New Lead of International Inside Sales

WaterGroup recently announced that Nate Wells will lead international inside sales. In his new role, Wells will be responsible for logistics, quoting and coordinating shipping and answering technical questions.

He joined WaterGroup five years ago as a customer service representative and has since continued to increase his responsibilities in sales with select Hydrotech customers requiring more focused sales support. In addition, he has performed water analysis and answered technical questions to better serve customers.


WaterGroup Promotes Jamie Buczynski to Sales Manager

WaterGroup announced that Jamie Buczynski has been promoted to southwestern Ontario district sales manager. In his new role, Buczynski will be responsible for increasing sales with plumbing wholesalers, training and field application customer service.

Certification helps prepare company for new Canadian regulations
