Franchise opportunities are available in many major U.S. and Canadian markets
Culligan International Co. announced a major initiative to sell many of its company-owned dealerships in North America. With more than 100 dealerships available, many of which are located in large metropolitan markets such as Los Angeles, Dallas, Milwaukee, Toronto and Denver, qualified buyers have a rare opportunity to join the largest water distribution network in the world. A Culligan dealership carries certain exclusive territorial rights for on of the most powerful brand names in the water treatment industry and a full line of products.
Culligan said this refranchising initiative is being undertaken as part of its strategic priority to focus exclusively on strengthening its position as the best franchisor in the water treatment industry. The company intends to redouble its efforts to deliver best-in-class products, brand marketing, sales training and operational support.
“We believe that the value of the Culligan brand and distribution system can best be advanced with a laser focus on being a world-class franchisor and leveraging the unique strengths of our independent franchise model in every market,” said Mark Seals, CEO of Culligan International. “We have a strong relationship with our valued franchise dealers, and by working together we have a deep understanding of how we can best serve their needs through training, strategic support and product innovation.”
Company-owned Culligan dealerships are available in the United States and Canada. Many of the dealerships are located in prime locations with significant sales volume. The company-owned dealerships have a growing recurring revenue stream and are fully staffed and operational, which will enable a smooth transition to new ownership. Over the past several years, Culligan has improved the operating performance and service quality of its company-owned dealerships, which now makes them a highly attractive purchase opportunity for qualified dealers, the company said.
