Drinking Water for All

There must be something in the water this month – Culligan is commemorating May as Drinking Water Month, and the American Water Works Assn. (AWWA) highlights next week, May 5 to 11, as Drinking Water Week.

There’s never a bad time to remind your customers about the importance of water quality. But with the weather finally warming up (at least for some of us here in the Midwest!), May might be the perfect time to get out there and do some outreach to educate the public on drinking water and treatment.

There are many ways to promote the importance of drinking water, from offering a special discount this month to hosting an open house at your dealership. AWWA offers a list of suggestions on how to get the word out about Drinking Water Week, plus potential activities and events to participate in. While some ideas are more specific to water utilities, many would also be great for dealerships.
