Greetings From Amsterdam

Nov. 4, 2015

This week, the WQP staff is in the Netherlands attending the Aquatech Amsterdam trade show.

The trade show, which began on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and will wrap up this Friday, Nov. 6, is a snapshot of the water industry, with water professionals involved in just about every discipline, from wastewater treatment to industrial water treatment to point-of-use, traveling from around the world to attend.

As part of the exhibition, WQP’s sister publication Storm Water Solutions partnered with the tradeshow to create the first Storm Water Pavilion, which features a collection of companies exhibiting their technologies and solutions for storm water management. To enhance the attendees’ knowledge of storm water treatment and management, the program includes a selection of speakers giving presentations on the show floor, on topics ranging from best management practices to rainwater harvesting.

Storm water management, like all areas of water quality and treatment, affects every country around the world—a point driven home by an event like Aquatech Amsterdam, with its international array of companies exhibiting solutions for water treatment issues of any type.
