undefined2019 has been an exciting year for the water treatment industry. Technologies are rapidly evolving, dealers are finding new ways to reach their customers, and legislation increasingly points to point-of-use/point-of-entry (POU/POE) as contaminant removal solutions. Still, some things have remained constant from previous years, such as concern regarding employee retention and the threat of big-box stores.
Each fall, WQP surveys its audience on important issues ranging from market segments and projected growth to new technologies and industry-wide challenges for the annual State of the Industry report. The survey also explores demographics, budgeting, purchasing plans and industry resources. A total of 91 people participated in this year’s survey.
WQP is dedicated to keeping its readers informed on current industry issues. The editorial staff will continue to research and report on the state of the water quality industry throughout the year.
