The WQA Convention & Exposition will be held April 1 to 3 in Orlando, Florida.
Simon T. Bailey, speaker and author of “Be the Spark,” will deliver the keynote address at the 2020 Water Quality Association (WQA) Convention & Exposition April 1 to 3 in Orlando, Florida.
He will headline the convention’s Opening General Session April 2 at the Orange County Convention Center, reported the press release.
“I’ve followed Simon for many years and am thrilled that he will be sharing his ideas, and, yes, his spark, with water quality industry leaders,” said WQA Executive Director Pauli Undesser in the press release. “Our convention theme of 'Vision 20/20' was designed to highlight just the kind of creativity and transformative mindset Simon sparks in his audiences.”
Bailey, a former sales director for Disney Institute, was named one of “25 Successful People Who’ll Help Change Your Life” by Success magazine in 2018. He has worked with more than 1,700 organizations in 46 countries.
Author of ten books about fearlessness, Bailey has also created a multitude of workshops, online courses and speeches in an effort to engage and inspire audiences.
According to Bailey, in today’s business world, there is no room for “lackluster performance, half-brilliant contributions, or low-burning customer service.”
Bailey’s most recent book, Be the SPARK: Five Platinum Service Principles for Creating Customers for Life, teaches readers to attract and retain customers in a growing global market.
The WQA Convention & Exposition has been the signature event of the water treatment industry for more than 40 years. Education sessions are offered on all three days and the trade show floor with more than 240 exhibiting companies will be open April 2 and 3.
WQA’s Business Boot Camp will be offered alongside the convention. The workshop will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 31 at the Orange County Convention Center.
WQA members receive a discount on registration and sponsorship opportunities and new WQA members are eligible for free convention registration their first year of membership.
