WQA Bootcamp Announces Speaker Lineup

The speaker lineup for the Water Quality Association (WQA) Business Boot Camp has been announced.

The third annual Water Quality Association (WQA) Business Boot Camp, where water industry and outside experts in leadership, human resources and business management will engage attendees, has announced its speaker lineup.This year’s presenters have decades of business experience, from both inside and outside the water industry, reported the press release. The speakers are Candice Wentling, Jeff Kortes and Doug Ramer. 

Wentling is a Master Water Specialist and director of Certified Action, who will discuss “Leadership Lessons: Articulate Your Passion.” She has been conducting sales training, field coaching and leadership accountability seminars for the last 13 years, according to the press release.

Jeff Kortes, founder of Human Asset Management LLC, will discuss “Hiring and Retention: Find the People First.” Jeff has more than 25 years of experience in human resources.

Doug Ramer is a Master Water Specialist, Certified Water-Treatment Representative and Human Resources Director at Martin Water Conditioning, who will speak on “How to Onboard Your Employees: Training Materials, Teaching Professionalism.”

Primarily aimed at dealers, the theme of the bootcamp is learning how to “Create the Vision” for a successful water treatment business, according to the WQA press release

“Whether you are new to the industry or an experienced professional, attendees from across the water treatment industry will walk away with new skills and tools they can immediately put to use to build their businesses,” said WQA’s Associate Executive Director of Member & Public Engagement Tom Bruursema. “We’re arranging time for attendees to share ideas with each other in addition to learning from experts so that all participants gain solid, practical, proven ideas for developing their vision for their companies.”

The bootcamp will be held Mar. 31, 2020 at 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
