Topics include emerging contaminants, business concerns
The Eastern Water Quality Assn. (EWQA) announced its educational lineup for the fall conference. EWQA strives to provide education on upcoming issues that affect the industry.
“This is one of the greatest lineups we’ve had, and there is something for everyone: sales training, technical training and classes specifically for owners and managers,” said EWQA Board President Doug Ramer of Martin Water.
Classes will include topics such as emerging contaminants PFOA and PFOS and how to reduce them in drinking water. EWQA also is addressing the concerns of business owners and managers by including presentations on how to use finance to your advantage and another on creating a company culture that drives productivity. When it comes to technicians there are several classes to choose from, including hands-on classes for rebuilding a valve and troubleshooting peristaltic pumps.
